Louisiana rolls out LA Trip Ticket; old PC system ends Dec. 31
Louisiana commercial seafood dealers need a new electronic trip-ticket path this winter. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries said its LA Trip Ticket program becomes available in November 2026, and the current PC Trip Ticket system will stop accepting submissions after Dec. 31, 2026.
Dealers who want to help test the new program can call the Trip Ticket office at 225-765-2449. LDWF also scheduled free in-person training blocks: Lake Charles Nov. 30–Dec. 1, Lafayette Dec. 2–3, New Orleans Dec. 7–9, and Bourg Dec. 14–16. Sessions run 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a lunch break.
Trip tickets are how dealers report commercial saltwater landings to the state. Missing the Dec. 31 cutoff on the old software means no submissions until a dealer is on LA Trip Ticket, so the November rollout and December training dates are the window to switch before year-end landings pile up.
