Oregon’s Oct. 19–23 trout week: 5,600 fish, most of them for Henry Hagg Lake

US FishingOregon

Oregon’s trout schedule for the week of Oct. 19–23, 2026, is short and only covers the Willamette Zone. The Department of Fish and Wildlife’s weekly stocking table lists three waters and 5,600 trout: 4,500 legal-size and 1,100 trophy. No broodstock or fingerlings are listed.

Henry Hagg Lake gets most of the fish: 3,000 legal-size and 1,100 trophy trout, for 4,100. The Springfield office has two smaller plants. Alton Baker Canal gets 750 legal-size fish, which matches its row on the Oct. 12–16 list. The Row River Nature Park pond, listed as the former Cottage Grove Pond, also gets 750.

This week is smaller than Oct. 12–16, when the schedule had 10,250 fish at eight waters, most of them trophy trout on the south coast. The table shows Taylor Lake and Pine Hollow Reservoir, both out of The Dalles, for the week of Oct. 26. ODFW says the dates can move a week either way, and fish can go to a different water if conditions are poor. It tells anglers to check the weekly Recreation Report for changes.
