Colorado’s Oct. 9 stocking report lists catchable trout at 11 waters
Colorado Parks and Wildlife posted a fresh batch of catchable-trout stockings dated Oct. 9, 2026. The department’s stocking report says those fish are about 10 inches long. The date on each line is the day the water was added to the Friday report. The truck may have been there earlier in that week.
Eleven waters carry the Oct. 9 date. In the southeast: Anticline Lake, Fountain Lake, and Runyon Lake. In the southwest: San Miguel River No. 3. In the northwest: Breeze Pond. In the northeast: Flatiron Reservoir, Lon Hagler Reservoir, McMurry Park Lake, Severance City Pond, Prospect Pond No. 3 South, and Riverbend Pond No. 2. Each line on the report links to the Colorado Fishing Atlas for access and species notes.
CPW says the report is updated every Friday during the fishing season. Annual fishing licenses run from March 1 through March 31 of the following year. Regulations are in the Colorado Fishing Brochure.
