Seaforth Sunday afternoon: 329 yellowfin and 36 bluefin
Seaforth’s Sunday tally, as of 2:30 p.m., is a yellowfin dock with bluefin still in the mix. SoCal Fish Reports lists 9 boats and 10 trips for 286 anglers on Oct. 4, 2026. The afternoon total was 329 yellowfin tuna, 140 barracuda, 85 skipjack tuna, 84 yellowtail, 84 vermilion rockfish, 80 rockfish, 36 bluefin tuna, 30 bonito, 19 calico bass, 11 sand bass, 8 whitefish, 6 sheephead, 6 dorado, 3 sculpin, 3 halibut, and 2 white seabass.
The offshore boats carried the tuna. San Diego’s full-day offshore trip, 36 anglers, finished with 88 yellowfin, 22 yellowtail, 3 skipjack, and 2 dorado. Sea Watch’s full day, 29 anglers, added 78 yellowfin and 6 yellowtail. Pacifica’s two-day, 24 anglers, put up 70 yellowfin, 42 skipjack, and 8 bluefin. Highliner’s day-and-a-half, 22 anglers, had 16 bluefin, 17 yellowfin, 5 skipjack, 19 yellowtail, and 44 vermilion rockfish. Apollo’s two-day, 20 anglers, added 12 bluefin, 3 yellowfin, 9 yellowtail, 40 vermilion, and 80 rockfish. Tribute’s day-and-a-half, 18 anglers, landed 29 yellowfin and 35 skipjack. Aztec’s day-and-a-half, 24 anglers, had 24 yellowfin, 6 yellowtail, and 4 dorado. El Gato Dos’s full day, 4 anglers, added 20 yellowfin and 6 yellowtail.
Inshore, New Seaforth ran two half-days. The morning boat, 52 anglers, led the barracuda with 95, plus 15 bonito, 14 calico bass, 14 yellowtail, 8 whitefish, 6 sand bass, 6 sheephead, 3 sculpin, and 1 white seabass. The afternoon boat, 57 anglers, added 45 barracuda, 15 bonito, 5 calico bass, 5 sand bass, 3 halibut, 2 yellowtail, and 1 white seabass.
