Fisherman’s Landing Friday: Liberty calls in 50-plus yellowfin, Pacific Queen docks 53
Fisherman’s Landing posted a Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, update at 12:35 p.m. from San Diego. This sheet is the boats still on that landing’s own count, not the Seaforth and H&M dock totals filed separately for the same day.
Liberty called in on the first day of a 2.5-day charter with more than 50 yellowfin tuna, 12 to 25 pounds, for 18 anglers. Pacific Queen was already back from a 2-day charter: 53 yellowfin and 9 skipjack for 19 anglers.
The same note still points half-day anglers at the Dolphin for calico bass, sand bass, bonito, and occasional yellowtail, and says sardines are on the boat. Thursday’s Dolphin private-charter count is already on the desk and is not part of this Friday return.
This is a The Gillnet news desk summary, not a reprint.
