Fisherman’s Landing Saturday: Dolphin’s 25-pound white seabass, Pegasus calls in 93 yellowfin
Fisherman’s Landing’s Saturday morning sheet, posted Oct. 17, 2026, at 7:12 a.m., fills in boats that were not on the Friday midday note already filed. The new local count is Dolphin’s three-quarter-day: 25 anglers, 5 yellowtail listed up to 25 pounds, 1 white seabass at 25 pounds, 19 skipjack, 1 halibut, 71 sand bass, 28 calico bass, 11 sculpin, and 4 sheephead.
Pegasus called in with 93 yellowfin tuna and 12 dorado for 21 anglers. Liberty’s first day of a 2.5-day charter is now listed at 100 yellowfin, 12 to 25 pounds, for 18 anglers. That is a later figure than the Friday call-in that had the same trip over 50 fish. Pacific Queen’s return on this sheet is unchanged from the count already on the desk: 53 yellowfin and 9 skipjack for 19 anglers on a 2-day.
The same update still points half-day anglers at Dolphin and says bass and bonito fishing has been strong the last couple of weeks, with some yellowtail, and that sardines are on the boat.
