Weber River near Oakley is at 54.3 cfs and clear
The Weber near Oakley is low and clear. Fly Fish Food’s report dated Oct. 4, 2026, put flow at 54.3 cubic feet per second on the Weber River near Oakley and called the water clear. The U.S. Geological Survey provisional reading at site 10128500, Weber River near Oakley, was still 54.3 cfs at 10:15 a.m. MDT on Oct. 5. The qualifier on that reading is provisional.
The shop’s species list for the report is brown trout, rainbow trout, and Bonneville cutthroat trout. It says the low, clear water has fish tight to undercut banks, deeper seams, and structure, and that they are easy to spook. The report’s own window runs Oct. 4–11. For flies, it points to small baetis and midge patterns in the morning and midday, and to a lighter caddis and ant bite later in the afternoon. Those are the shop’s recommendations, not a state stocking or a regulation change.
Check the live Oakley gauge before you wade. Provisional USGS numbers can be revised.
