South Dakota’s Oct. 17 sheet adds 5,114 rainbows at Sheridan and 11,410 walleye at Enemy Swim
South Dakota’s stocking sheet moved again after the Oct. 14 report already on the desk. Game, Fish and Parks’ “stockings in the last 14 days” file, created Oct. 17, 2026, adds adult rainbow plants dated Oct. 14 and Oct. 15.
The biggest new load is Sheridan Lake in Pennington County on Oct. 15: three rainbow plants of 1,186, 1,840, and 2,088 fish, 5,114 adults in all. Oct. 14 rainbow plants on the new sheet are Wylie Park in Brown County (1,176), Dante in Charles Mix County (900), Little Moreau No. 2 in Dewey County (960), Armour Kids Fishing Pond in Douglas County (980), Capitol Lake in Hughes County (234, on top of the 1,356 dated Oct. 13), Rollings GPA in Lincoln County (814), Tea South community fishing pond in Lincoln County (678), and Worthing community fishing pond in Lincoln County (226). Those Oct. 14 and Oct. 15 rainbows add up to 11,082 adult fish.
The same Oct. 17 file adds a walleye plant that was not on the Oct. 14 sheet: 11,410 juvenile walleye at Enemy Swim in Day County on Oct. 14. The 3,169 juvenile walleye dated Oct. 13 at that lake were already in the earlier brief.
