Dickerman Pond drawdown starts Oct. 13 for New Hampton hatchery work

New Hampshire Fish and Game will begin a drawdown of Dickerman Pond in New Hampton on Oct. 13, 2026. The pond is coming down so crews can improve the pipe, valve, and trash rack under the Inland Fisheries Hatchery Modernization Project.

Contractor MWH Construction is set to do that improvement work later in October and November. The contact on the notice is Dianne Timmins at 603-271-2501.

Fish and Game posted the schedule on Sept. 30. Background on the hatchery work is on the department’s fish hatcheries page.
