Kentucky Fish and Wildlife has published its November 2026 trout stocking schedule, with releases planned on five days between Nov. 3 and Nov. 12.

Stocking starts Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Central, Northern and Eastern Kentucky, including 1,500 trout each at Kentucky Horse Park's Rolex Lake, Alexandria Community Park Lake, Camp Ernst Lake, Maysville Lake and Brickyard Park Lake. On Nov. 4, Floyds Fork Creek in Jefferson County and Paintsville Lake Tailwaters each get 2,000 fish. Nov. 5 includes 2,000 at Fish Trap Lake Tailwaters and 1,500 each at Fagen Branch, Logan Hubble Park and Grants Branch lakes.

Later in the month, Otter Creek, Sinking Creek and the Peabody WMA lakes are on the Nov. 10 list, and Nolin Lake Tailwaters (2,000) and Jesse Thornton Lake (1,500) close things out on Nov. 12.

The department notes that stocking dates for streams on federal property, such as Swift Camp Creek, Rock Creek and the Middle Fork Red River, and for the Cumberland Tailwaters are not announced ahead of time.
