Delmarva: slow Monday offshore, but tog bite on sand fleas at Indian River Inlet

Eric Burnley's Oct. 27 Talk of Delmarva fishing report on WGMD calls Monday a tough day on the water. The Katydid out of Lewes Harbour Marina came back with nothing, though the Judy V put together a decent sea bass catch.

Closer to shore, Old Inlet Bait & Tackle reports good tautog fishing at Indian River Inlet for anglers using sand fleas. Sand fleas are also catching striped bass from the beach at Fenwick Island. The shop had no red drum reports.

Farther north, Hook 'em and Cook 'em reported a 54-pound bluefin tuna caught aboard the Whistle with Charlie Horning off New Jersey.
