Seaforth Tuesday: 198 yellowfin and 197 skipjack on six boats

Seaforth Sportfishing’s Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, dock split between yellowfin and skipjack. San Diego Fish Reports lists 6 boats and 7 trips for 192 anglers, as of 2:30 p.m. The count was 198 yellowfin, 197 skipjack, 33 whitefish, 31 rockfish, 25 barracuda, 17 dorado, 11 yellowtail, 10 bullet tuna, 10 calico bass, 5 sand bass, 3 bonito, 2 sculpin, and 1 halibut.

Pacifica’s 1.5-day, 20 anglers, led the yellowfin with 102 fish, plus 9 dorado and 6 yellowtail. Polaris Supreme’s 3-day, 18 anglers, added 45 yellowfin. San Diego’s full-day offshore, 36 anglers, mixed 51 yellowfin with 87 skipjack and 5 dorado. Sea Watch’s full-day offshore, 30 anglers, was the skipjack trip: 110 skipjack and 2 dorado.

New Seaforth’s half-days stayed closer in. The morning trip, 33 anglers, landed 33 whitefish, 26 rockfish, 25 barracuda, 4 calico, 3 bonito, and 1 halibut. The afternoon trip, 52 anglers, added 6 calico, 5 rockfish, 5 sand bass, 2 sculpin, and 2 yellowtail. El Gato Dos’s full-day offshore, 3 anglers, accounted for the landing’s 10 bullet tuna, plus 3 yellowtail and 1 dorado.
