Seaforth Sunday: 425 yellowfin, with Pacifica and Voyager leading the tuna
Seaforth Sportfishing’s Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, dock totals were in as of 2:30 p.m. Eight boats ran 10 trips for 321 anglers. The combined count was 425 yellowfin tuna, 208 barracuda, 154 dorado, 42 rockfish, 35 yellowtail, 17 skipjack, 12 wahoo, 12 calico bass, 11 sand bass, 10 sculpin, 1 striped marlin, 1 bonito, and 1 pilot fish, plus 100 calico bass released.
The multi-day boats led the tuna and dorado. Pacifica’s 2.5-day, 26 anglers, landed 163 yellowfin, 16 dorado, 2 yellowtail, and 1 wahoo. Voyager’s overnight, 18 anglers, landed 90 yellowfin, 10 yellowtail, and 2 dorado. Aztec’s 2.5-day, 26 anglers, was the dorado trip: 91 dorado, 54 yellowfin, 11 wahoo, and 9 yellowtail.
Full-day offshore and the 1.5-day filled in the rest of the outside count. El Gato Dos’s 6 anglers landed 50 yellowfin, 5 yellowtail, 4 skipjack, 1 dorado, and 1 striped marlin. Sea Watch’s 30 anglers landed 50 yellowfin, 13 skipjack, and 3 dorado. San Diego’s 29 anglers landed 18 yellowfin, 1 dorado, and 1 pilot fish. Tribute’s 1.5-day, 26 anglers, finished with 40 dorado and 5 yellowtail.
Inshore, New Seaforth ran three half-days. The morning trip, 52 anglers, put up 180 barracuda, 3 yellowtail, 2 calico bass, 2 rockfish, and 1 sand bass. The afternoon trip, 55 anglers, added 28 barracuda and 1 yellowtail. The twilight trip, 53 anglers, accounted for the released calico: 100 calico released, plus 40 rockfish, 10 calico kept, 10 sand bass, 10 sculpin, and 1 bonito.
