Seaforth Monday: 147 yellowfin and 150 barracuda on four boats
Seaforth Sportfishing’s Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, dock totals were in as of 2:30 p.m. Four boats ran four trips for 84 anglers. The combined count was 150 barracuda, 147 yellowfin tuna, 85 skipjack tuna, 20 yellowtail, 13 dorado, 6 rockfish, 5 bluefin tuna, and 5 bonito. SoCal Fish Reports’ same-day dock sheet lists those bluefin up to 180 pounds.
The outside boats carried the tuna. Pacific Voyager’s 3-day, 12 anglers, landed 83 yellowfin, 65 skipjack, and 1 dorado. Apollo’s 1.5-day, 18 anglers, landed 60 yellowfin, 20 skipjack, 6 dorado, and 4 yellowtail. Cortez’s 3.5-day, 8 anglers, was the bluefin and yellowtail trip on the sheet: 15 yellowtail, 6 dorado, 5 bluefin, and 4 yellowfin.
Inshore, New Seaforth’s morning half-day, 46 anglers, put up 150 barracuda, 6 rockfish, 5 bonito, and 1 yellowtail. That single trip accounts for every barracuda on the Monday landing total. This is Monday’s dock, separate from Sunday’s Seaforth yellowfin and dorado counts already on the desk.
