Seaforth Wednesday: 127 barracuda, 104 yellowfin, and 12 white seabass

Seaforth Sportfishing’s Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026, dock mixed a thick barracuda half-day with offshore yellowfin and yellowtail. San Diego Fish Reports lists 6 boats and 7 trips for 197 anglers, as of 2:30 p.m. The landing total was 127 barracuda, 104 yellowfin tuna, 101 yellowtail, 65 skipjack, 43 bonito, 34 dorado, 33 calico bass, 12 white seabass, 6 rockfish, 5 sand bass, 4 sheephead, 3 whitefish, 1 wahoo, and 1 bluefin tuna.

Apollo’s 2-day, 12 anglers, led the yellowfin with 80 fish, plus 30 skipjack, 16 dorado, and the landing’s only wahoo. Pacific Voyager’s 2-day, 18 anglers, stacked 61 yellowtail with 12 white seabass and 1 bluefin. New Seaforth’s morning half-day, 37 anglers, accounted for most of the barracuda: 125 fish, with 15 bonito and a few rockfish and sand bass. The afternoon half-day, 53 anglers, added 35 yellowtail, 33 calico, and 28 bonito.

San Diego’s full-day offshore and Sea Watch’s full-day offshore stayed lighter on yellowfin but pushed skipjack and dorado. Tribute’s overnight, 13 anglers, finished with 16 yellowfin, 10 dorado, and 5 yellowtail. This is Wednesday’s Seaforth sheet, separate from Tuesday’s yellowfin-and-skipjack brief already on the desk.
