H&M Landing Monday: 820 yellowfin, with Sea Adventure 80 and Producer in front
H&M Landing’s Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, dock is a yellowfin day. San Diego Fish Reports lists 7 boats and 7 trips for 172 anglers, as of 2:30 p.m. The landed count was 820 yellowfin tuna, 145 bullet tuna, 25 yellowtail, 23 rockfish, 20 dorado, 17 sculpin, 13 sand bass, 9 calico bass, 7 skipjack, 6 bluefin tuna, 1 sheephead, and 1 striped marlin. SoCal Fish Reports’ dock sheet lists those bluefin up to 190 pounds.
The longer trips carried the tuna. Sea Adventure 80’s 3-day, 28 anglers, landed 364 yellowfin, 6 dorado, and 5 yellowtail. Grande’s full-day offshore, 41 anglers, added 153 yellowfin, 2 dorado, and 1 yellowtail. Old Glory’s overnight, 27 anglers, landed 135 yellowfin, 7 dorado, 3 yellowtail, and 1 skipjack. Excalibur’s 2.5-day, 20 anglers, finished with 100 yellowfin and 1 dorado.
Producer’s overnight, 29 anglers, was the bullet-tuna trip: 145 bullet tuna, 60 yellowfin, 15 yellowtail, 4 skipjack, and 1 dorado. That boat accounts for every bullet tuna on the Monday sheet. Little G’s 2.5-day, 4 anglers, was the different count: 8 yellowfin, 6 bluefin, 3 dorado, 2 skipjack, 1 striped marlin, and 1 yellowtail. Those six bluefin and the marlin are the only ones on the landing total.
Inshore, Premier’s morning half-day, 23 anglers, stayed on the bottom: 23 rockfish, 17 sculpin, 13 sand bass, 9 calico bass, and 1 sheephead. This is Monday’s dock, separate from Sunday’s H&M yellowfin and yellowtail sheet already on the desk.
