Fisherman’s Landing Tuesday: Liberty’s 148 yellowfin and a 45-pound bluefin on Dolphin
Fisherman’s Landing posted a Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, morning note out of San Diego. This sheet is separate from Monday’s yellowfin brief already on the desk, which covered Pacific Queen, Pegasus, and Dolphin’s full day. Tuesday’s report is Liberty and Fortune back from two-day trips, plus a Dolphin three-quarter-day call-in.
Liberty returned this morning with 21 anglers on a two-day. The count was 148 yellowfin tuna, 4 dorado, 3 skipjack, 4 yellowtail, and 1 white seabass.
Fortune also returned this morning, another two-day with 21 anglers. That boat finished with 53 yellowfin tuna and 8 dorado.
Dolphin called in from a three-quarter-day with 24 anglers. The landing described good yellowtail fishing on yo-yo jigs and flyline, plus 1 bluefin tuna at 45 pounds, 50-plus sand bass, 30-plus calico bass, and 40-plus barracuda. Those Dolphin numbers are a call-in, not a closed dock tally.
