Fisherman’s Landing Sunday: 11 bluefin to 220 pounds and 144 yellowfin
Fisherman’s Landing’s Sunday dock is a multi-day tuna return. SoCal Fish Reports lists 4 boats and 4 trips for 72 anglers on Oct. 4, 2026. The landing total was 144 yellowfin tuna, listed up to 70 pounds, 11 bluefin tuna, listed up to 220 pounds, 38 yellowtail, and 1 dorado.
Sportfishing Report’s boat sheet for the same day splits it this way. Pacific Queen, 20 anglers, had 52 yellowfin to 60 pounds, 8 yellowtail, and 5 bluefin listed up to 220 pounds. Liberty’s 2.5-day, 18 anglers, had 50 yellowfin to 70 pounds, 14 yellowtail, and 3 bluefin. Pacific Dawn, 16 anglers, had 40 yellowfin to 70 pounds, 2 yellowtail, 2 bluefin, and the landing’s only dorado. Fortune’s 2-day, 18 anglers, had 2 yellowfin, 14 yellowtail, and 1 bluefin. Those four boats account for every fish on the Sunday landing total.
This is Sunday’s Point Loma sheet at Fisherman’s Landing, not the Seaforth or H&M docks and not Tuesday’s Liberty-and-Dolphin note already on the desk.
