Emeryville Sunday dock: 93 kings, with rockfish and lingcod stacked on the bottom boats
Fish Emeryville’s Monday morning update on NorCal Fish Reports, posted Sept. 21, 2026, recapped Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Emeryville dock. Nine boats ran nine trips for 117 anglers. The combined count was 93 king salmon, 367 rockfish, 56 lingcod, 7 cabezon, 1 bonito, and 1 halibut.
The salmon boats: New Huck Finn, 16 anglers, 25 kings plus one lingcod and one rockfish. Diamond went 6 anglers and 6 kings. Lady K went 9 and 12 kings. Scallywag went 6 and 12 kings. Sea Wolf’s 13 anglers had 10 kings and 3 rockfish. Pacific Pearl’s 14 anglers had 8 kings. C Gull II’s 16 anglers had 14 kings and a bonito.
The bottom boats carried the other half of the day. TigerFish, with 20 anglers, boarded 200 rockfish, 40 lingcod to 20 pounds, and 6 kings to 25 pounds. Oakland Anglers II, with 17 anglers, had 163 rockfish, 15 lingcod, 7 cabezon, and 1 halibut.
The landing said it is still waiting to hear how close the fall salmon season is to the 20,000-fish mark — the shared fall recreational ocean Chinook guideline — and told anglers to book soon. If that number is reached, the fishery stays closed until 2027. Pacific Pearl was out Monday with a light load; those scores were not up yet. This is Sunday’s dock, separate from the earlier Emeryville sheets for Sept. 14, 16, and 17.
