Dana Wharf Sunday: 367 yellowfin and 206 bullet tuna by midafternoon

Dana Wharf’s Sunday sheet is a tuna dock, and it is only the boats back by midafternoon. SoCal Fish Reports lists 3 boats and 3 trips for 69 anglers on Oct. 4, 2026. The landed count, as of that tally, was 367 yellowfin tuna, 206 bullet tuna, 93 skipjack tuna, and 4 dorado.

Dana Pride’s three-quarter day, 39 anglers, carried the yellowfin: 200 fish, plus 100 bullet tuna, 73 skipjack, and 3 dorado. Reel Fun’s three-quarter day, 22 anglers, added 135 yellowfin, 81 bullet tuna, and 10 skipjack. New San Mateo’s three-quarter day, 8 anglers, put up 32 yellowfin, 25 bullet tuna, 10 skipjack, and 1 dorado. No bass or rockfish were on this partial Sunday total.

This is Sunday’s Dana Point sheet, separate from Wednesday’s sand-bass-and-calico brief. Boats still outside at 2:30 p.m. are not in these numbers.
