Guntersville: Randles wins lures-only event with 22.86, Brown takes club event

Lake Guntersville kept producing heavy bags at two weekend tournaments out of Goosepond Colony in Scottsboro, according to results posted by Bassin' Bigg.

On Saturday, Oct. 24, Kaden Randles won the Gambler Lures Only Tournament with 22.86 pounds. Matt Tucker and Luke Salvail finished second with 22.36.

On Sunday, Oct. 25, Michael Brown won the Guntersville Bass Anglers club event with 19.61 pounds. Tony Tidwell was second with 17.83 and Brian Elder third with 17.73.

Those weights follow other strong October bags on the lake, including the 24-1 that Jade and Caige Bragg weighed to win the Oct. 18 Toyota Owners Tournament.
