Clint Knight of Russellville, Kentucky, won the Phoenix Bass Fishing League Music City Division finale on Old Hickory Lake. The two-day total, reported out of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, on Sept. 28, 2026, was 10 bass for 30 pounds, 8 ounces. The paycheck was $10,920, including a $7,000 Phoenix bonus. It was the fifth and last qualifier for the division.

Knight said he had not been on Old Hickory in 15 years and put his first waypoints down in Friday practice. He started in pocket backs for one or two fish in hydrilla, then covered isolated targets on the river-channel edge from about 10 to 12 feet, mostly on a bladed jig. Nine of his 10 weigh fish came on that bait. Sam Lashlee of Camden was a distant second at 22-5. Knight also took Berkley Big Bass boater with a 5-3 worth $300. Michael Stout of Gallatin won Music City Division Angler of the Year with 1,338 points.

Sam Lemons of Philadelphia, Tennessee, won the co-angler division with six bass for 10 pounds, 11 ounces and $1,810. Qualifiers head to the Oct. 15–17 BFL Regional on Kentucky-Barkley Lake in Calvert City, Kentucky — the home-water regional Knight said he entered this event to reach.
