Lake Hamilton hosts the Bass Fishing World Championship Oct. 1–3

An Outdoor News staff note published Sept. 30 puts the Bass Fishing World Championship on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Oct. 1–3. The item calls it the 20th edition of the only globally sanctioned world championship for bass fishing, with a large number of nations entered.

The same report notes, briefly, the ongoing effort to add bass fishing to the Olympic program. The Outdoor News page is a short staff item; check the event organizers for the live schedule before you head to Hot Springs.
